Standard League Champions

For the first time in the history of the club we should have two crews paddling in the premier league next year after an awesome effort by our second crew this season.  Paddling like demons all season the championship went right down to the last event at the last league race of the season at Milton Keynes.  A huge effort to see off the Crusaders crew and the old archrivals, Henley, saw the Ps gain those vital few points from the last 500m race and triumph.

It has to be said it was close with Kingston, Henley and Crusaders all ending up on the same points, but Kingston just squeaking the championship by dint of the winning the 500m.  Congratulations to Crusaders for snatching the 200m crown and Henley for finishing as runner up in both competitions.  Honorable mention to Pershore too who were worthy opposition all season and we're sure will be up in the Premier League soon as well.
